About Us

Olathe East opened in the fall of 1992.  Our students have consistently scored among the highest standardized test scores in the district. Beyond academics, many of our students participate in our successful performing arts and athletic programs. Our students also continually provide service to our school and community. Research shows that students who are involved in their school perform better academically. To this end, we encourage our students to become a participating member of our caring Olathe East community, composed of faculty, staff, students, and parents.

The Hawks compete in the Sunflower League and are classified as a 6A school. Throughout its history, Olathe East has won forty-eight state championships in various sports.
